Sex Robots And Virtual Reality (VR Porn)

Sex Robots And VR Porn

It seems that two of the best sexual fantasies are finally upon us. Sex Dolls have already reached an acceptable level of realism and the market itself has a good level of public awareness and acceptability. Virtual reality is in a similar phase offering affordable, advanced headsets and, most importantly, a large amount of high quality vr porn. The question is where are both of these technologies going and how will they combine?

Sex Robots And VR Porn

In its infancy the sex doll industry was a bit of a joke, with it being largely limited to blowup dolls. However there was a jump in technology when some clever companies decided to try out silicone and then rubber dolls. This jump started a boom and ignited the flames of passion in many a lonely man and his wallet fanned the flames of more sellers and manufacturers. As competition increased, the need for innovation became essential and each year brought more and more new developments: realistic skeletons, unrealistic proportions, the ability to stand, central heating, moaning, air filled breast and then finally – the dawn of sex robots.

Still in its infancy the sex robot market is just taking off but we warrant that it’s the most underestimated industry in history. The human sexual desire has and will continue to fuel development and ultimately we’re predicting at least one robot in every home. As complexity and, therefore, prices increase we will also find that a large loan, leasing deal or even second mortgage will be required and will be happily paid for. Not only can they do the sex stuff they can do every job in and around your house.

Then we come to VR and our dreams of our very own Star Trek holodeck. Luckily, we don’t need a giant spaceship or even a huge room – we simply need to stick a lightweight helmet on our heads and then we can be transported anywhere we want. In some cases, the visuals are now at such a point that we can’t tell the difference between actual and virtual reality. The VR porn market is growing fast and I’m already surprised when I see that one of the big content providers haven’t jumped on this – those that have are storming ahead.

Robots in VR

So where do we go from here? Well, right now there is a limiting factor with both of these technologies and that is full and complete realism. VR looks real but it doesn’t feel real, whereas Sex Dolls feel real but don’t quite look real. Although most of that, with Sex Dolls, has to do with the fact that they’re not yet fully moving robots there’s also the AI of the dolls that will still take a long time to perfect. So, the answer seems obvious: combine the two!

Yes, it’s that simple. The combination will mean that you can watch your sex doll (or a porn star) moving around and talking to you and then, when she moves into the appropriate position (that you’ve previously set your doll into) you can start getting it on with your sex doll. As things get more sophisticated, we’ll add some sensors into the dolls to coordinate the movements with the video footage and, as this is already happening with sex toys, this will be a simple and obvious transition.

Finally as the dolls become more robotic we can then use them without VR. So, this may simply be a transition phase, or more likely they will then become complimentary. Chances are there will be further developments in VR so that a body suit might remove the need for a physical object altogether and then after that a cortical implant will remove the need for either – ah, what a wonderful world that will be!
